Model Based Tool Designer and Developer 

The company is looking for a Model Based Tool developer to enlarge its development team. In this role, you will be a system engineer designing and developing simulation , code generation and optimization tools for these domains. 

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the development of tools for model-based design, including graphical editors, simulation engines, code generators, and state machine simulators.
• Assist in the design of AUTOSAR Classic tools, including the RTE Generator, RTE Authoring Tool, and BSW/MCAL Configurator, based on Eclipse technology.
• Integrate with FMI for simulation and optimization.

Requirements:

• M.Sc. in Engineering (PhD preferred)
• 3+ years of experience in object-oriented programming, with strong Java skills
• Experience in designing and developing graphical interfaces
• Expertise in model-driven engineering (model-to-text, text-to-model, or model-to-model transformations)
• Solid understanding of application design, validation processes, and tools
• Fluent in English, with the ability to work in a multicultural environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of C++, build scripts (Bash, Maven, CMake)
• Experience with AUTOSAR Classic tools and standards
• Familiarity with Eclipse-based plugin development (EMF, Acceleo, XText, Sirius)
• Experience in unit testing and test automation
• Familiarity with UML, SysML, or tools like Matlab/Simulink/Stateflow
• Experience with embedded code generation, including template-based customization
• Knowledge of simulation models (e.g., FMI, DIGSilent, SystemC)
• Optimization problem-solving experience (e.g., MILP, simulated annealing)
• Willingness to travel internationally
