Advanced Embedded Systems & AI Expert Engineer

Responsibilities

Architect and optimize Linux kernel and Android other operating systems for automotive applications.
Develop software solutions for advanced intelligent cockpits and autonomous driving systems.
Conduct in-depth performance tuning for CPUs, GPUs, and other embedded hardware.
Optimize embedded AI applications, including model inference and efficient edge deployment for large AI models in automotive environments.

Essential Requirements

Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Strong proficiency in C/C++ or Python.
Proven experience in automotive software development or architecture.
Expertise in low-level performance optimization for embedded systems.
Solid understanding of real-time operating systems and concurrent programming.
Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to optimize complex systems.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a multicultural environment.
Fluent English.

Preferred Skills:

Deep knowledge of Linux kernel and Android other operatins systems internals.
Experience with virtualization and containerization.
Expertise in embedded AI and machine learning model deployment.
Familiarity with automotive safety standards (ISO 26262/SOTIF).
Background in distributed systems and high-performance computing.
Publications or patents in relevant fields.
Experience with job scheduling optimization in heterogeneous computing environments.
Experience with high-performance computing or supercomputing environments.
Experience working in large multinational corporations.
Expertise in technology component sourcing.
Strong domain insights in automotive or embedded systems industries.
Availability to travel outside Italy.
