Operations Engineers – Berlin – On-site – AuG Contract 

Your area of responsibility

• Responsibility for reported customer problems and following them through to resolution
• Investigate, diagnose and identify solutions to resolve issues in the services
• Adhering to the specified processes for escalating unresolved issues to the relevant internal teams
• Monitoring SLO alerts and error budgets
• Management of the incident response flow with regard to the applications used
• Identification and implementation of automation options
• Processing and resolving open support tickets in compliance with SLAs
• Coordination with different stakeholders to carry out blameless post-mortems

Your profile

• Successfully completed studies with a focus on computer science, completed training in the IT sector or an equivalent qualification
• Professional experience in IT operations or production support
• Practical experience with Linux platforms
• Expertise in dealing with: Proxmox, OpenStack, OpenShift, Artifactory Enterprise, Ansible, Kubernetes, Docker, PostgresSQL, Grafana, Prometheus, Gitlab, Terraform, Jira, Confluence, etc.
• Knowledge of one of the programming languages: Python, Bash Scripting, Go or Perl
• Ability to work in a team, flexibility and willingness to work in a 24×7 (incentive) support model
• German language skills at least at B2 level and a good command of English
