Photonic Technology Expert
A leading global technology company headquartered in China is seeking a highly skilled Photonic Technologies Engineer to join their team. This company is renowned for its innovative solutions in information and communications technology (ICT) infrastructure and devices, serving customers in over 170 countries and regions.
Responsibilities
- Leverage light properties and different materials to produce, control, and manipulate light for use in high-tech devices.
- Design and test devices or systems that utilize cameras, lasers, microscopes, opto-mechanics, and refractometers.
- Assess the most suitable technology to address project targets.
- Document hypotheses, designs, and results for new technology.
- Conduct field research on existing photonics theory and design.
- Oversee the manufacturing of new devices with photonic technology.
- Evaluate new ideas for controlling photonic chips.
- Collaborate with other research centers and/or universities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or physics; PhD preferred.
- 5-10 years of experience in the field of photonics.
- Knowledge of both Geometrical and Physical optics.
- Familiarity with main Photonic Technology Platforms.
- Experience working in a laboratory environment.
- Proficiency in using Optical and Photonics SW tools for Simulations and Design.
- Fluency in English.
