Project Manager – FTTH

This role is for a results-oriented leader to spearhead Fiber-To-The-Home (FTTH) projects at a leading global technology provider, ensuring they meet ambitious goals for timelines, costs, and quality.

Responsibilities

• You’ll manage entire FTTH projects, from planning and design to completion. This includes leading and motivating a team with the resources needed to achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• You’ll define clear processes for working effectively with customers, internal departments, and subcontractors. This fosters a collaborative environment that keeps projects on track.
• You’ll organize regular meetings to keep both internal and external stakeholders informed on project progress through reports and reviews.
• Anticipate and address challenges that arise during project execution. Your ability to escalate issues effectively and find solutions is crucial.
• Manage communication and expectations across all parties involved, ensuring everyone is aligned and on the same page.
• You’ll secure project acceptance from both customers and subcontractors, ensuring a smooth handover and satisfied stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Telecommunications, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a program/project manager, ideally leading access network and FTTH rollouts in Germany.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Fluency in German and English is essential.
• Willingness to travel as needed for project requirements.
