Job Title: Territory Sales Manager
Reports to: Regional Sales Manager

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for achieving and exceeding sales objectives by driving product sales, developing and supporting the Independent Distributor Representatives (IDRs), building strong customer relationships, and supporting the growth of their assigned territory. This role will represent the Company’s ophthalmic surgical device portfolio including capital equipment and disposable surgical products.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Establish and achieve territory sales goals and objectives.

  • Develop, maintain, and expand IDR and customer relationships.

  • Deliver product and clinical presentations to IDRs, customers, and physicians.

  • Perform surgical case support, including in-servicing, education, and training of physicians, OR staff and IDRs on surgical techniques and proper use of the products.

  • Support new product launches and other marketing and sales initiatives.

  • Perform surgical observations, product demonstrations, and competitor product evaluations.

  • Maintain awareness of competitive activity and market trends in the assigned territory.

  • Provide accurate and timely forecast and sales activity reporting.

  • Maintain a thorough understanding of all products and applications.

  • Manage territory expenses according to Company policies.

  • Maintain equipment, literature, and product inventory as needed.

  • Attend and participate in trade shows, conventions, and sales meetings.

  • Provide feedback to internal stakeholders including sales, marketing, customer service, and R&D.
