Regional Sales Manager

Purpose
Responsible for driving sales growth, developing strategic relationships, and managing the regional sales team to achieve revenue targets in the sale of the company’s professional product portfolio.
The role is focused on building and expanding the company’s presence across European markets, identifying new business opportunities, and fostering long-term customer relationships.

Responsibilities
Team Leadership

  • Manage and mentor a high-performing regional sales team, ensuring that outstanding customer relationships are built and maintained
  • Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring and performance management for the team, including establishing performance and development goals
  • Promote a collaborative, customer-focused culture within the team
  • Act as an escalation point for team members, providing support to ensure the best possible outcome for the company and its customers

Customer Relationship Management

  • Maintain close relationships with key accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through regular in person visits
  • Act as the primary point of contact for major customers in geographical region, promoting solutions from within company product offering, agreeing commercial pricing (within SOA), resolving issues and supporting general business growth
  • Gather customer/market insights and feedback to improve/strengthen the company market position

Business Development

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and key accounts to support annual sales plan
  • Build strong relationships with key customers, partners, and other influencers to drive future volume growth which compliments the company strategic sales plan
  • Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to expand market presence

Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare accurate sales forecasts and market analysis for management
  • Provide regular sales reports, pipeline updates, and market feedback to senior leadership team
  • Use CRM tool (SFDC) effectively for accurate sales forecasting and customer engagement management
  • Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs/risks to identify growth opportunities/business risks
  • Use Power Bi reports to monitor customer sales performance and trends

Key Competencies
Essential

  • Experience working in automotive component/vehicle adaptation sales sector (EU)
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills
  • Technical Sales experience, promoting engineered solutions
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
  • A technical sales background
  • Full Driving License and (EU) passport        

Person Specification
Essential                    

  • Self-motivated
  • Excellent organisational skills & attention to detail.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within Europe
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Able to communicate at different levels with our customers and prospective customers using all modern communication tools
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft & CRM systems
  • Absolute fluency in English & German language
