Research Expert on next generation Core Network
Responsibilities:.
- Research for next generation Mobile Core Network. Focusing on integration of AI and communication, including AI for network and network for AI.
- Lead new generation AI-driven Core Network for new scenarios, new applications, new architecture and new solutions, using of state-of-the-art AI technologies, especially Generative AIs or Large language Models (LLMs).
- Write technical standards papers and contribute to standardization.
- Technical implementation of prototypes and of proof-of-concept systems, particularly for Core network Architecture technologies and components.
- Communicate and cooperate with telecom operators on the next generation core network research.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Master’s or Ph.D. degree (preferred) in Telecommunications, Computer Science or related fields.
- Strong knowledge in Mobile Core Network communications.
- At least 5 years of research experience in Mobile Core Network.
- Experience in working in or collaborating with telecom operators.
- Strong knowledge in AI/ML especially Generative AIs or LLMs (Large language models).
- Research experience in Artificial Intelligence or Machine learning is better.
- Experience from industry organizations is a plus.
- High skills in team work and interpersonal communication as well as building relationships.
