Researcher / Senior Researcher – Networking Systems

Key Responsibilities

• Lead innovative research in networking systems, computer architecture, and high-performance computing to drive technological advancements.

• Design and develop new architectural features and enhancements through prototyping.

• Publish and present research findings at prestigious conferences and author white papers on current trends and future research directions.

• Build and sustain collaborative research relationships with top universities and academic experts in the fields of networking systems, computer architecture, and high-performance computing.

• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior researchers and interns.

   

Essential Qualifications

• Doctorate (PhD) or Master’s degree (MSc) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• Deep expertise in Computer Architecture and/or Communication Systems.
• Demonstrated success in publishing research in high-impact conferences or journals related to networking systems, distributed systems, high-performance computing, and computer architecture.
• Proven creativity and the ability to develop novel technologies and solutions.
• Significant research experience or strong knowledge in several of the following areas:
  • Cache and memory subsystems, including cache coherence protocols
  • Bus standards such as PCIe and CPU-Device connections
  • Network architecture and systems within datacentre environments
  • Network interface design and Smart NICs
  • High-performance computing system architecture
  • Hardware-software co-design
  • Familiarity with neural networks (NN) and large memory models (LMM) is advantageous.
• Excellent skills in intercultural communication, coordination, presentation, and reporting, with a proven ability to excel in a research-focused setting.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with a collaborative attitude and the capability to work autonomously.
