Robotic Engineer
Our client is actively looking for a Robot engineer to with start 2025-01-20 for a 12 month contract with likely extension. Location is in south of Sweden (Malmö/Lund area).
Mandatory education background and professional experience                   Â
- BSc degree in computer science or similar
- 3 years’ experience in developing robotics applications using ROS2
- Expert level knowledge of ROS2 driver development in Python
High level of general software development competence
- Effective oral and written English skills
Meriting education background and professional experience                        Â
- MSc degree in relevant field
- Experience with pytest or similar test frameworks
- Experience with industrial automation and motion control systems
- Experience with developing OPIs in pyQt
Scope of the assignment       Â
Working as part of a multidisciplinary team responsible for assuming ownership of the remote handling systems for the Active Cells Facility. Will report to the work package manager of station control system integration.
- Take part in testing, troubleshooting and commissioning robotics systems
- Integrate robotics application with the control system
- Support and interact with Active Cells Facility local control room operators
