You will be joining a world-leading technology company at their labs Cambridge.

Take ownership of a sub-technical area within the AI Processor Software & Hardware Co-design Lab, focusing on NPU chip technologies. Your role involves identifying pivotal root technologies, devising evolution strategies & roadmaps, & executing these strategies to enhance our technical competitiveness in the computing sector, thereby supporting our business endeavors. You’ll drive technology & business innovation by integrating various sub-domains like application algorithms, frameworks, runtime, modeling, simulation, & compilers from a processor perspective, fostering end-to-end architecture competitiveness.

Stay abreast of AI industry & technology trends, gaining insights into AI application & algorithm development directions. Develop fundamental AI software & hardware architectures, addressing key usability & performance challenges across the entire AI stack through technical initiatives.

Essential Qualifications

• Extensive experience optimizing AI chip architectures & systems, with a thorough understanding of mainstream heterogeneous computing software & hardware architectures.
• Proficiency in one of the following areas: Numerical Calculation, Compilation, Algorithm & chip co-design, Runtime, Shared Memory.
• Familiarity with AI industry application scenarios, mainstream models, & algorithm development trends, with the ability to extract chip-level requirements.
• Skillful in identifying key bottlenecks based on scenarios like NLP & large models, driving pragmatic software architecture evolution.

Advantageous Qualifications

• Background in software usability enhancement projects.
• Relevant experience across multiple sub-fields of AI application algorithms, frameworks, runtime, modeling, simulation, & compilers.
• In-depth comprehension of innovative methods, platforms, & tools used by leading AI manufacturers, with a track record of translating academic & application research achievements into commercial products.
