Senior Automotive Exterior Designer

As a Senior Exterior Designer, you’ll lead design projects from concept to production, collaborate across disciplines, and help elevate the creative output of the studio.

Core Responsibilities

• Lead the development of original automotive exterior concepts across all design phases.

• Manage small teams to ensure successful project execution and creative excellence.

• Elevate the design team’s standards through mentorship and professional expertise.

• Present design solutions to internal stakeholders, building trust and alignment with leadership.

• Collaborate with external partners to expand creative capabilities and project scope.

• Support global project initiatives, including occasional international travel for reviews and benchmarking.

  Key Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in automotive or transportation design.

• 8–10 years of professional experience in exterior car design (agency or in-house).

• Strong proficiency in 2D/3D design tools; expert in Blender.

• Hands-on experience with clay modeling processes (small and full scale).

• Familiarity with AI tools to enhance design workflow and innovation.

• Demonstrated leadership in guiding teams and delivering high-level design outcomes.

• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Fluent in English; experience in international design environments is highly valued.

• Understanding of global automotive markets is a plus.
