Role Overview
We’re looking for a Senior Compiler Engineer to join our innovative compiler team in Zurich. In this high-impact, hands-on role, you’ll play a crucial part in developing our adaptive runtime compiler, optimizing HPC applications to unlock new performance levels.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain both high- and low-level optimizations to accelerate HPC applications on our dedicated hardware.
• Contribute to and work with MLIR and LLVM to advance adaptive compiler technologies.
• Benchmark applications to identify new optimization opportunities and guide team priorities.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including software and HPC engineers and hardware architects, to ensure seamless alignment on project objectives.

Requirements

• Education: BSc, MSc, or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: 7+ years in software engineering, with at least 5 years in compiler engineering.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in C, C++, or a similar systems programming language.
  • Practical experience with MLIR is advantageous.
  • Strong algorithmic intuition and experience with control flow graphs and code analysis.
