Senior Data Scientist – Energy Storage System

You will be joining a world-leading technology company in Nuremberg, to be a part of a new lab that is growing even further!

Responsibilities

• Develop AI algorithms to model & predict energy storage system performance, including tasks like predictive maintenance, failure detection, safety alerts, & State-of-Charge (SoC) estimation.
• Experiment with & implement various AI techniques, such as reinforcement learning, large foundational models, machine learning, & deep learning, to enhance system simulations.
• Optimize AI models for precise performance predictions & efficient maintenance scheduling.

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related discipline
• Demonstrated success in delivering impactful AI-driven solutions
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate AI into business processes.
• Proficiency in programming languages & frameworks; e.g. Python, TensorFlow, & PyTorch
• Strong knowledge of machine learning, deep learning, & natural language processing methodologies.
• Expertise in data preprocessing, feature engineering, & model optimization
• Familiarity with Big Data technologies; e.g. Hadoop, SQL/NoSQL databases, Cloud platforms, & Spark
• Excellent English communication skills, both written & spoken
