Senior High-Speed Signal Integrity Engineers

Responsibilities

• Provide technical solutions for high-speed (112Gbps+) interconnections (passive links) for ICT products
• Design high-speed PCBs (and off-board components like cables), perform simulations, analyze signal integrity, and conduct lab verifications
• Collaborate with the team in China, including technical reviews, regular reporting, and project chartering
• Develop technology roadmaps and plan projects for high-speed interconnections, providing technical insights into high-speed systems

Requirements

• Master’s degree or higher, with a preference for a PhD in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Communication Engineering, Electromagnetic Science, etc. Over 8 years of work experience
• In-depth knowledge and extensive experience in hardware architecture design for telecom/communication products
• Extensive experience in developing high-speed (56Gbps+) products/prototypes and successfully delivering 56Gbps+ products
• Expertise in high-frequency design rules, including impedance control and crosstalk
• Proficiency in system-level simulations of analog signals at the PCB, connector, and cable levels
• Experience in PCB/HDI stack-up design and understanding of related fabrication limitations and costs
• Strong knowledge of high-speed SerDes architecture, including Rx/Tx SerDes PHY, Tx/Rx equalization techniques, CDR, and DSP-level challenges
• Familiarity with key high-speed serial hardware such as SerDes, high-speed ASICs, packages, DSPs, PCBs, and connectors
• Skilled in high-speed serial links lab experiments/prototyping (using real-time oscilloscopes, VNA, etc.) and correlating results with simulations
• Knowledge of industry standards like IEEE 802.3/OIF-CEI, Common Electrical I/O (CEI)-224G, or InfiniBand
• Academic background with a willingness to participate in conferences and industry events
• Enthusiastic about technology, with curiosity, ability, and motivation to make significant contributions in your field of expertise

Job Tools / Technical Work

• High-speed/high-frequency design and simulation using 2D and 3D simulation tools (ADS, CST, ANSYS HFSS, Sigrity)
• High-speed SerDes modeling and simulation, with experience in Python (preferred), Matlab, Verilog-A, and ADS
