Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of PoCs for the next-generation features of Rust to tackle real-world problems in mobile, compute, and embedded systems.
• Provide directions and guidance to the company’s automated software engineering tool offerings in the area of Rust.
• Desired Experience & Skills
• PhD in the area of Programming Languages, Operating System, Software Engineering.
• Experience of working with Rust for safety and performance.
• Fluent in written and spoken Chinese language (native-level Mandarin).
• World leading experts in the area of programming languages, deep knowledge of best practices, methods, approaches in Rust and extensive experience of architecting, designing, building a safe and efficient programming language, especially knows the following aspects inside out:
• High-performance language features of Rust
• Safe migration of C/C++ systems to Rust
• Rust for GPU, TPU, NPU accelerators
• Up to 10% travel to China.
