Senior Software Engineer (Rust)

We are currently partnered with a well funded blockchain start up working within the Ethereum space building cutting-edge infrastructure for cross-chain automation in a decentralized world with the overall goal of powering intelligent agents that interact seamlessly across blockchain networks.

The team are looking for an experienced software engineer to join their team to help ensure that our background processes run smoothly while we are striving to become the best in the industry.

Requirements:

• Senior-level Rust expertise.

• Strong software design, architecture, and engineering skills.

• Experience with message-based and event-sourced architectures.

• Proven smart contract development background.

• Blockchain experience, particularly in Layer 1.

• Ownership mentality – accountable for tasks and projects from start to finish.

• Professionalism and a commitment to quality.

• Commitment to maintaining and enhancing existing code.

Preferred:

• Experience with the NEAR ecosystem (e.g., nearcore).

• Security-focused development and auditing experience.

• Familiarity with EVM and web3 ecosystems.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and enhance Rust-based, business-critical services.

• Research and prototype blockchain technologies.

• Review and advise on technical architecture across the organization.

• Contribute to open-source projects in the NEAR ecosystem.

• Collaborate with a distributed team and engage in Ethereum engineering forums.
