Senior User Researcher

Responsibilities

• Lead User Research Initiatives
  • Design, implement, and evaluate user research studies to guide product development and design processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define research objectives and prioritise user insights.
• Methodology Expertise
  • Employ various qualitative and quantitative research techniques, including usability testing, interviews, surveys, and data analytics.
  • Remain informed about the latest trends and advancements in user research methodologies.
• Team Collaboration
  • Work closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to integrate research findings into product strategies and solutions.
  • Mentor junior researchers and promote a culture centred on user-focused design within the organisation.
• User Persona Development
  • Develop and sustain comprehensive user personas based on research outcomes to ensure an in-depth understanding of our diverse user base.
• Usability Testing
  • Plan and execute usability testing sessions, offering practical recommendations to enhance user experience.
• Data Analysis and Reporting

  • Analyse qualitative and quantitative data to generate actionable insights.

  • Prepare and deliver detailed reports that convey key findings and recommendations to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrable experience as a User Researcher, particularly with business-to-business products.
• Proficient in using various research tools and platforms.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proven experience in leading research strategies and methodologies.
• Multilingual skills are an advantage.
