Software Engineer – Distributed Systems and Security

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop software solutions across the entire stack, from firmware to distributed systems
• Implement and optimize networking protocols and distributed processing algorithms
• Contribute to the development of secure software architectures for advanced semiconductor products
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including SoC Designers, Security Engineers, and AI Engineers
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including design, implementation, testing, and deployment
• Continuously improve our CI/CD pipelines and development processes

Requirements

• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• (Ph.D. is a plus)
• Proficiency in data structures and algorithms
• Extensive experience in distributed systems and networking
• Strong knowledge of the Linux stack and kernel-level programming
• Proficiency in Kubernetes and container orchestration technologies
• Good knowledge of containerization and orchestration
• Expertise in implementing and optimizing networking protocols
• Familiarity with security principles and best practices in software development
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Strong programming skills in languages relevant to system-level and distributed computing
• Good understanding of the networking stack and tools, including SDNs
• Understanding of SDN (Software-Defined Networking) concepts and applications
• Knowledge of distributed computing concepts and algorithms

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure
• Familiarity with networking equipment and protocols used by companies like Cisco and Juniper Networks
• Background in cryptography or secure computing
• Contributions to open-source projects related to distributed systems or networking
• Experience with NetApps and their integration into distributed systems
