Software Engineer (Go)

We are currently partnered with an exciting blockchain lab enabling cutting-edge protocols in the Ethereum space actively supporting a remote-first environment. They are currently looking to expand their infrastructure team with a Software Engineer (Go).

Responsibilities

• The position has an 80/20 split between Software Engineering and SRE.
• Ensure high availability and failure tolerance on infrastructure.
• Automate the configuration and maintenance of software components including K8s, NATS, and Cloudflare.
• Design and implement cloud-agnostic solutions.
• Manage automation of validator and RPC nodes
• Contribute to software engineering projects including the development of sidecars that implement infrastructure, time series processing engines, and indexer/blockchain event aggregation pipelines.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Golang and experience with DevOps or SRE.
• Proven experience as a backend software developer.
• Knowledge of SDLC, continuous integration, and testing methodologies.
• Understanding of internet infrastructure services (DNS, HTTP, server virtualization, monitoring).
• Familiarity with SRE principles, including monitoring, alerting, error budgets, and fault analysis.
• Expertise in Go or other system-oriented programming languages.
