Software Test Manager

We are currently partnered with an industry leading provider of innovative payment technology solutions for commercial customers within the transport sector globally. They are looking to expand their team in Germany with a Software Test Manager to work onsite in Hamburg. 

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of test engineers across various projects.
• Plan and allocate resources to meet project milestones and schedules.
• Define test strategies, processes, and ensure their implementation.
• Oversee functional and non-functional tests for web and mobile applications.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to improve testing efficiency and quality.
• Prepare test reports, update user manuals, and manage software deliveries.
• Provide third-level customer support and assist with sales, bids, and change requests.
• Develop, implement, and audit quality processes for continuous improvement.

Requirements 

• Fluent in German and English.
• Strong experience in product testing or QA within a software development lifecycle.
• Proven ability to lead a team, manage objectives, and develop team members.
• Solid report-writing skills and proficiency in Word, Excel, and databases
• Experience with public transport systems or app/web testing tools.
• Knowledge of SQL and tools like JIRA and TestRail.
• Degree in software engineering or relevant experience in software testing.
• ISTQB Foundation and Test Manager certification (desirable).
