Technical Engineer – Fixed Network

As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in providing expert technical support and troubleshooting, ensuring the seamless operation of their fixed network infrastructure.

Responsibilities
- Technical Support: Provide comprehensive technical support and troubleshooting for fixed networks, including FTTH, WDM, and IP products.
- Client Collaboration: Collaborate closely with clients to identify and resolve technical issues, ensuring the optimal performance of their networks.
- Network Maintenance: Conduct regular maintenance and performance checks to proactively address potential problems and optimize network efficiency.
- Technical Documentation: Develop and deliver clear and concise technical documentation, reports, and training materials to support clients and internal teams.
- Product Development: Liaise with the product development team to provide valuable client feedback and suggest enhancements to improve our product offerings.
- Network Expansion: Assist in the planning and implementation of network upgrades and expansions to meet evolving client needs.
- Industry Knowledge: Stay abreast of the latest industry trends and advancements in fixed network technologies to maintain technical proficiency.
- Customer Satisfaction: Deliver exceptional customer service by providing timely and effective technical support, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in technical support and troubleshooting for fixed network infrastructure.
- Proficiency in German and English, both written and spoken.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused mindset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Familiarity with network management tools and software.
- Willingness to travel for on-site support as required.

- Certifications related to fixed networks, WDM, and IP technologies.
- Knowledge of additional networking technologies and protocols.
