Technical Engineer – Fixed Network

As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in providing expert technical support and troubleshooting, ensuring the seamless operation of their fixed network infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Technical Support: Provide comprehensive technical support and troubleshooting for fixed networks, including FTTH, WDM, and IP products.
• Client Collaboration: Collaborate closely with clients to identify and resolve technical issues, ensuring the optimal performance of their networks.
• Network Maintenance: Conduct regular maintenance and performance checks to proactively address potential problems and optimize network efficiency.
• Technical Documentation: Develop and deliver clear and concise technical documentation, reports, and training materials to support clients and internal teams.
• Product Development: Liaise with the product development team to provide valuable client feedback and suggest enhancements to improve our product offerings.
• Network Expansion: Assist in the planning and implementation of network upgrades and expansions to meet evolving client needs.
• Industry Knowledge: Stay abreast of the latest industry trends and advancements in fixed network technologies to maintain technical proficiency.
• Customer Satisfaction: Deliver exceptional customer service by providing timely and effective technical support, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in technical support and troubleshooting for fixed network infrastructure.
• Proficiency in German and English, both written and spoken.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused mindset.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Familiarity with network management tools and software.
• Willingness to travel for on-site support as required.

Bonus Requirements

• Certifications related to fixed networks, WDM, and IP technologies.
• Knowledge of additional networking technologies and protocols.
