Test Analyst
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Salesforce Test Analyst with Salesforce administration skills & strong testing experience, to join a Salesforce Team. This role will create a dedicated testing function within our existing Salesforce support and development team.
The role will support the Salesforce developers and product managers with the testing of new functionality and larger projects, as well as assisting the Salesforce Administrators with system configuration.
The role will work closely with salesforce product managers, developers, and administrators as well as business stakeholders from across the business.
Responsibilities:
•
Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure that software meets defined requirements and quality standards. Perform various types of testing, including functional, integration, regression, and performance testing. Assist with UAT best practices and assisting the Salesforce business team to help coordinate business testing.
•
Configuration Management: Configure and maintain Salesforce and related software components, ensuring optimal performance and stability. This may include configuring operating systems, applications, and network settings.
•
Collaboration and Communication: Effectively communicate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, testers, and stakeholders. Facilitate meetings, workshops, and presentations to share information and gather feedback.
•
Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including requirements specifications, test plans, test cases, user manuals, and release notes.
•
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the optimization of development and testing methodologies.
•
Problem Solving: Analyze and troubleshoot issues, working with development teams to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
•
Staying Current: Stay up-to-date with the latest Salesforce technologies and industry best practices.
Required Skills and Experience:
•
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
•
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, such as Agile and Waterfall.
•
Hands-on experience with Salesforce configuration – Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud.
•
Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and experience with various testing techniques.
•
Experience with setting up and maintaining automated testing would be preferred.
•
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (written and verbal).
•
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
•
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
•
