Thermal Controls Development and Calibration Engineer

ETR are looking for a candidate that has the ability to calibrate, tune and test Thermal Control functions using standard industry tools such as INCA. The testing activities are to be performed, ideally, in a vehicle environment so hands on experience will be very welcome. Experience with function development in Simulink is highly desirable – the SW is developed using Model Based SW development techniques in Simulink

Assignment description and main responsibilities
• In-vehicle Testing, calibration and verification of thermal control functions using standard industry tools such as INCA and CANalyzer
• Model based software implementation of Thermal Control software using Simulink (please see competence and other requirements)
• Participate in the cross functional system work

Competence requirements
Calibration experience using INCA
Testing experience using industry standard tools e.g. Vector CANalyzer
Driver’s License B – as testing is required in a vehicle environment

Other requirements

• Diagnostics experience particularly in a development capacity; developed or experienced with diagnostics in a modelling environment, not just using diagnostics tools desirable
• Function development in Simulink – Thermal and/or climate experience is highly desirable
• System development lifecycle experience
• SW development lifecycle experience
• Data analysis using Python is desirable
