EU Product Management Senior Expert of Data Center Facilities
Job Description
Position Overview:
As a Senior Expert in Product Management for Data Center Facilities, you will oversee strategic product direction, focusing on power solutions, such as UPS, batteries, and switchgear. Your responsibilities include analyzing market trends, planning product roadmaps, engaging in industry standards, and fostering innovation. You will work closely with the R&D team to ensure products align with industry requirements and market needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Candidates should specialize in at least four of the six areas below:
- Market Analysis & Strategy:
- Identify trends and business opportunities in data center facilities.
- Provide strategic insights to guide product adaptation to market demands.
- Monitor industry regulations and policies in Europe.
- Product Development & Roadmap Planning:
- Lead power solution product development for data center infrastructure.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners on product roadmaps.
- Manage joint innovation projects to advance industry solutions.
- Industry Representation:
- Participate in relevant standardization groups and industry discussions.
- Ecosystem Development:
- Build and maintain partnerships with key industry stakeholders.
- Customer Engagement & Marketing Support:
- Support customer interactions, technical presentations, and industry events.
- Assist the sales team with technical expertise on products.
- R&D Collaboration:
- Define product requirements and manage R&D tasks to align with market needs.
- Support technology integration and validation during product development.
Requirements:
- Strong skills in market analysis, customer engagement, and strategic thinking.
- Technical expertise in power electronics, UPS systems, and data center architecture.
- Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., IEC61439, IEC62040, EN50600).
- At least five years of experience in the data center or related sectors.
Additional Skills:
- Engineering or science degree (Bachelor’s or higher).
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of German or French is a plus.
- Background with data center power products (UPS, batteries, switchgear, cooling systems).
