Software Engineer – Embedded AI Software for Network Devices

Are you a seasoned Software Engineer with a passion for embedded systems and AI? We’re seeking a talented individual to design and optimize critical software for our network devices. In this contract role (CDD), you’ll be at the forefront of integrating cutting-edge AI into our security solutions, enhancing performance and resilience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of core embedded systems, including time-series, stream, and graph databases, plus AI inference engines.
• Design and implement robust data solutions for network device logs, ensuring efficient storage, querying, and real-time analytics.
• Architect and optimize security AI solutions, from data pipelines to model inference.
• Drive technical architecture for embedded AI systems, ensuring modularity and clear documentation.
• Collaborate closely with product, algorithm, and testing teams to deliver high-quality projects on time.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science.
• Proven hands-on experience with time-series databases (e.g., InfluxDB, TimescaleDB) and firewall/router/switch development.
• Familiarity with the entire embedded AI data processing lifecycle.
• Understanding of security product scenarios (NGFW, IDS, IPS).
• Strong architectural thinking, proactive coordination, and a results-driven mindset.
• A keen interest in AI and cybersecurity trends.

Bonus points for

• Experience with cybersecurity vendors and endpoint protection solutions.
• Contributions to open-source projects or publications in top conferences.
• Deep knowledge of cybersecurity scenarios like NGFW policy matching or EDR behavioral analysis.
