AI Expert – Energy Storage System

You will be joining a world-leading technology company in Nuremberg, to be a part of a growing lab!

Responsibilities

• Oversee the creation of AI algorithms designed to simulate & forecast the performance of energy storage systems. This includes precise estimation of State-of-Charge (SoC), predicting battery failures, issuing safety alerts, & scheduling predictive maintenance.
• Utilize & experiment with a range of AI methodologies, such as machine learning, deep learning, reinforcement learning, & large foundational models, to develop highly effective models.
• Refine & optimize AI models to ensure accurate & efficient performance predictions & maintenance planning.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated success in designing & implementing AI solutions that have significantly enhanced business operations & outcomes.
• Extensive experience working in a collaborative, cross-functional setting, partnering with various teams to drive AI-driven projects.
• High proficiency in AI programming languages & frameworks, such as Python, TensorFlow, & PyTorch.
• Strong grasp of machine learning algorithms, deep learning architectures, & natural language processing techniques.
• Comprehensive experience in data preprocessing, feature engineering, & model optimization methods.
• Solid understanding of Big Data technologies, including Cloud, SQL/NoSQL, Hadoop, & Spark.
• Proficiency in written & spoken English; additional languages are a plus.
