Business Development Manager
Hybrid or Remote in Germany
A leading provider of intelligent manufacturing solutions, specializing in innovative technologies for industries such as automotive, energy, and advanced manufacturing. Job Responsibilities
- Sales Execution: Implement sales strategies to achieve targets through proactive client acquisition in European markets.
- Client Development: Drive the expansion of the company’s client base across Europe, identifying and engaging with potential partners and customers.
- Strategic Alignment: Analyse customer investment plans to formulate regional sales strategies that align the company’s solutions with customer needs. Collaborate with internal proposal teams to deliver tailored proposals.
- Project Leadership: Lead new project bidding processes, including the preparation of bidding documentation, fostering customer relationships, conducting competitor analysis, and developing detailed cost breakdowns.
- Account Management: Develop and execute account development plans to strengthen customer relationships and maximize their business potential.
- Project Facilitation: Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project implementation and oversee sales-related activities to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Process Development: Establish an international process framework to support the needs and scalability of the company’s international business development initiatives.
Job Requirements
- Industry Experience: Minimum of 8 years of sales experience in the battery, E-drive, or BIW (Body-In-White) assembly sectors.
- Regional Expertise: At least 3 years of professional experience in European markets, with a deep understanding of regional business practices.
- Client Network: Prior experience and established connections with key automotive playersare highly preferred.
- Automotive Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of automotive industry strategies, business models, key success factors, operational processes, and industrial footprints.
- Core Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation abilities to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders and drive business objectives.
