Collaboration Coordinator
Collaboration Coordinator
Summary:
Strengthen partnerships between the company and UK/EU research institutes, focusing on technology collaborations across the UK and EU. The role involves identifying high-value research opportunities, aligning collaboration efforts with business needs, and providing technical insights into academic strengths in computing, electronics, and basic technologies. The coordinator will serve as the primary contact for university partners, fostering long-term industry-academia relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strengthen University Partnerships:
- Support project managers, scope technology collaborations, organize events, and handle industry-academia liaison tasks.
- Manage funded Innovation and Communication Platform, covering basic, electronic, and computing technologies.
- Identify Research Opportunities:
- Explore cutting-edge research and recommend high-value opportunities to senior management.
- Develop and maintain collaboration resource maps to align business needs with academic expertise.
- Provide Technical Insight:
- Deliver in-depth insights into UK’s strengths in computing, electronics, and basic technologies.
- Facilitate new technology collaboration opportunities.
- Represent the London Research Centre:
- Identify emerging technologies and collaboration opportunities across the UK and EU, with a focus on AI.
Required Experience:
- Academic background in Computer Science or related fields.
- Experience in research project management and industry-academia collaborations.
- Strong knowledge of computing technologies and either basic or electronic technologies.
- Understanding of the UK research ecosystem.
- Willingness to travel across Europe and globally.
- Mandarin language skills preferred.
- Right to work in the UK without sponsorship.
