FTTH Planner

We are a leading provider of telecommunications services in Germany, and we’re looking for an experienced FTTH Planner to play a key role in delivering broadband fiber optic networks across the country.

Responsibilities

• Develop, plan, and conduct project planning for fiber optic and broadband networks using modern software or customer-specific software (including CAD and GIS applications).
• Determine network component requirements and document the entire planning process.
• Calculate investment costs for fiber optic infrastructure projects.
• Perform strategic planning and design of FTTX networks, ensuring they are ready for implementation.
• Support in the preparation of order and tender documents.
• Prepare documents for project and construction management.
• Participate in securing cable routes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in communications engineering, civil engineering, or a comparable field, or several years of relevant professional experience.
• Practical experience in planning, construction, and technical documentation.
• Prior experience in planning and realizing FTTx infrastructure projects is a strong plus.
• Very good knowledge of CAD/GIS systems such as AutoCAD, ArcGIS, and QGIS.
• Excellent communication skills, persuasiveness, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Valid driver’s license.
