System Software Architect
System Software Architect
Key Responsibilities
Lead system software development within an innovative CPU Architecture team, shaping the future of Cloud and Mobile computing. This as a technical leader and hands on contributor.
- Technical Leadership: Own the full software stack—firmware, kernel, hypervisor, drivers, and applications—enabling advanced CPU features for Cloud and Mobile.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with architects and leaders to prototype, design, and deliver system-level software, balancing performance, quality, and security.

Hands-On Development: Lead and contribute to low-level system programming (C/C++), firmware development, and OS design.

Feature Integration: Partner with CPU architects to integrate new features into Kernel, Hypervisor, Firmware, and drivers.

Ecosystem Alignment: Engage with open-source communities to promote CPU features, ensuring optimized speed, efficiency, and security.

R&D and Deployment: Drive CPU architecture innovation from research to deployment in Server and Mobile markets, following Arm standards.

Technical Strategy: Translate client needs into technical solutions, bridging innovation and user products.

Performance Optimization: Lead software profiling, optimization, and instrumentation for high-performance, secure solutions.
Requirements
-
5+ years in system software development, with kernel/hypervisor programming, low-level C/C++/assembly coding, and firmware/OS design.
-
Proven leadership in system software projects with active coding contributions (C/C++/Python).

Experience managing software lifecycle from concept to deployment and maintenance.

Deep knowledge of CPU architecture, especially Arm-based systems, for secure, high-performance software.

Expertise with Linux stack, including kernel drivers, firmware, networking, storage, and OS internals.

Strong skills in device driver integration, testing, and validation best practices.

Experience with open-source development and upstream Linux collaboration.

Proficiency in software profiling and optimization for workloads, applications, and compilers.

Preferred Qualifications
-
M.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.

Expertise in Arm AArch64 architecture and SoC designs.

Proficiency in Linux Memory Management and Virtualization.
-
Experience with Android or HarmonyOS.

Knowledge of heterogeneous systems (GPU/NPU, display processors, image signal processing).
