Senior Technical Advisor Remote Handling System

We have an opening for a super interesting assigmnet at one of our importamt customers as a Senior Technical Advisor with specific experience from Remote handing Systems.

With at least 15 years of experinece from the engineering field and specifically minimum 10 years of expereince remote handling systems you can be the suitable candidate for the position.

The placement is in Lund.

Special expertise needed

Good written and oral communication skills in English.
The role requires several years of experience with design and implementation of remote handling systems for equipment that exhibit significant radiation hazards. Prior experience with the Big Science projects and processes is a significant advantage.

Required education background and professional experience

• Mater degree within relevant engineering discipline (e.g. electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or mechatronics engineering) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• General understanding of EU standards and directives for equipment and/or installations.
• Experience from coordination of projects or tasks is beneficial.

Scope of the assignment

Providing technical and project managerial support to the work package manager for the Remote Handling Systems:

• Support with strategic and tactical decision making for reaching the project goals with best balance between quality, cost and schedule
• Provide technical expertise and relevant experience for best integration of the remote handling systems with the overall operational goals for the facility.
• Advise in all technical and organisational matters that relate to remote handling solutions
• Support the management of, and collaboration with, the involved in-kind partners

The consultant is expected to bring computer and phone to the assignment.
