IAM Senior Developer

Responsibilities
- Technical Leadership: Oversee the design, development, and implementation of automated directory solutions, aligning with our IAM strategy.
- Requirements Analysis: Collaborate with business and IT teams to understand and implement functional and non-functional requirements.
- Solution Development: Develop and configure new directory functionalities, ensuring they adhere to architectural principles, company standards, and best practices.
- Automation and Optimization: Drive continuous improvement by automating processes, standardizing workflows, and proactively addressing potential issues.
- Agile Collaboration: Actively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, fostering teamwork and transparency within the development process.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Effectively communicate with stakeholders, providing timely updates and seeking their input to ensure successful project outcomes.
Requirements
- IAM Expertise: At least 10 years of experience in IAM, with a deep understanding of identity and access management principles.
- Linux Mastery: Proven proficiency in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments, including system administration, patching, and security hardening.
- Directory Services: Minimum 5 years of experience with directory services, ideally with Red Hat Directory Server (RHDS) and eDirectory, or NetIQ eDir and Identity Manager (IDM).
- Troubleshooting: In-depth knowledge of troubleshooting connector and driver issues related to directory services.
- Operations: Extensive experience in administering and operating directory services, ensuring optimal performance and high availability.

Desired Skills
- LDAP Expertise: Proven experience managing RHDS and eDirectory, including replication, schema management, and performance tuning.
- Automation: Ability to write scripts using tools like Bash, Python, or Ansible to automate repetitive tasks and configure monitoring tools.
- DevOps: Familiarity with and hands-on experience with key DevOps tools like Docker, Git, Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, Python, and Postman.
- Security: Experience with securing LDAP environments and implementing compliance policies to safeguard data integrity.
- Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve directory-related issues efficiently.
