Business Development / Field Application Engineering Manager
Business Development (BD) / Field Application Engineering (FAE) Manager
This role focuses on driving customer demand for our client’s products through technical support and business development. You will work closely with customers to ensure successful design-in and product adoption, provide technical training, and support sales teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Engagement:
- Develop customer plans in coordination with Sales and Marketing.
- Provide technical support and help customers integrate our client’s products into their designs.
- Conduct technical presentations and demonstrations for customers.
- Establish strong customer relationships through regular visits and communication.
- Technical Support:
- Assist customers with technical questions and issues related to product design and integration.
- Track customer design activities and keep records updated.
- Provide training for customers, distributors, and internal teams.
- Market Insights & Feedback:
- Monitor market trends and gather feedback on product features and performance.
- Share insights with Sales, Marketing, and R&D teams to improve products and strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in technical support, R&D, or sales, preferably in the semiconductor industry.
- Strong knowledge of power components, power supply design, and related technologies (SMPS, UPS, AC2DC).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Willingness to travel (30% of the time) to provide on-site support to customers.
- Fluency in English (spoken and written).
- Market Knowledge: Traditional & Modern Trade; Channel & Customer Plan; Sales, Field & Merchandising Processes
