DACH Regional Sales
DACH Regional Sales Manager (AMR / Intralogistics Automation)
Location
Germany (frequent travel across DACH and wider Europe)
Overview
A growing automation company is seeking a DACH Regional Sales Manager to drive the expansion of its Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR) business across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
This is a customer-facing business development and sales role focused on warehouse automation, intralogistics, and mobile robotics solutions. The successful candidate will own regional growth, develop strategic customer relationships, and position AMR solutions with manufacturers, logistics operators, and system integrators.
Key Responsibilities
Regional Business Development
- Develop and execute short-, medium-, and long-term sales strategies for AMR solutions across the DACH region.
- Drive sustainable revenue growth through new customer acquisition and account expansion.
- Identify and develop opportunities within manufacturing, warehousing, logistics, and distribution sectors.
Key Account Management
- Build and manage relationships with:
- End customers
- System integrators
- Automation partners
- Intralogistics solution providers
- Develop structured account plans and growth strategies.
- Conduct regular customer visits and executive-level business reviews.
Sales Cycle Ownership
- Manage the complete sales process:
- Prospecting
- Qualification
- Solution positioning
- Proposal development
- Commercial negotiation
- Contract closure
- Coordinate internal technical, product, and delivery teams throughout the sales cycle.
- Ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction after contract award.
Market Development
- Monitor developments in:
- AMR and AGV technologies
- Warehouse automation
- Logistics robotics
- Material handling solutions
- Analyze competitors and market trends.
- Identify new verticals and partnership opportunities.
Sales Operations
- Maintain accurate pipeline management through CRM systems.
- Track KPIs, forecasts, and revenue performance.
- Optimize sales execution through data-driven decision making.
Required Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in:
- Automation
- Robotics
- Engineering
- Supply Chain
- Logistics
- Related technical disciplines
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of direct sales experience in:
- AMR solutions
- Mobile robotics
- Warehouse automation
- Intralogistics automation
- Proven experience selling:
- AMRs
- AGVs
- Warehouse robotics
- Material handling automation
- Experience working with:
- System integrators
- Automation solution providers
- Logistics technology vendors
