About the Role
Our client is a global industrial automation company specialising in autonomous mobile robots, machine vision, and intelligent intralogistics solutions.
They are currently looking for a DACH Regional Sales Manager to drive the growth of their Autonomous Mobile Robot business across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing the regional sales strategy, building strong customer and partner relationships, and expanding the company’s presence within the industrial automation, warehouse automation, and intralogistics markets.
This position is ideal for someone with strong knowledge of the DACH market, proven experience in AMR, AGV, mobile robotics, or intralogistics automation sales, and a passion for helping customers improve productivity through automation technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute mid to long-term sales strategies for AMR solutions across the DACH region.
- Identify, develop, and manage key accounts, system integrators, and strategic partners within the intralogistics and automation ecosystem.
- Drive business development activities by promoting AMR solutions and clearly demonstrating customer value.
- Build and maintain structured account plans, including regular customer engagement, solution alignment, and joint business development initiatives.
- Act as the main point of contact for customers, coordinating with internal technical, product, and delivery teams to ensure successful project execution and high customer satisfaction.
- Manage sales pipeline and activities using CRM tools, monitor performance metrics, and continuously improve sales execution.
- Stay up to date with market trends, customer requirements, and competitive developments within AMR, AGV, warehouse automation, and intralogistics.
- Support regional sales activities and collaborate with internal teams to build a high-performance, customer-focused sales environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above, ideally in Automation, Robotics, Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of sales experience in AMR, mobile robotics, AGV, intralogistics automation, warehouse automation, or a closely related field.
- Proven experience selling automation solutions to customers in the DACH region.
- Strong understanding of intralogistics processes, warehouse operations, material flow, and automation solutions.
- Experience working with AMR or AGV vendors, warehouse automation providers, system integrators, or industrial automation companies.
- Established network with customers, system integrators, partners, or distributors in Germany, Austria, or Switzerland is highly preferred.
- Strong commercial mindset, ownership mentality, and result-driven approach.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent German and English are required.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience selling AMR, AGV, or warehouse automation solutions in the DACH market. They should be comfortable managing complex B2B sales cycles, working with technical teams, and engaging with customers across manufacturing, logistics, warehousing, and industrial automation sectors.
Experience with customers in automotive, manufacturing, 3PL, e-commerce, retail logistics, pharma, or food and beverage would be highly relevant.
