Head of Verification

A rapidly-growing Dutch semiconductor company that develops ultra-efficient neuromorphic processors for AI at the edge is looking for Head of Verification to join the team in  western Netherlands on a permantn basis.

The role can offer fully remote work for the right person (occasional travel to NL)

Responsibilities

• Defining, planning, scheduling, and executing of the verification roadmap,
• Mentoring and leading the verification team, driving methodology and strategy for the verification of high performance SOC’s,
• Providing expertise and guidance to the team in verification and methodology,
• Working closely with the Head of Digital Design and, VP of Engineering as well as with a team of cross-discipline experts to forge high-level architecture,
• Breaking down product features into macro and sometimes micro architecture decisions that will be distributed across the team,
• Distilling verification coverage, progress, and risks into specific dashboard,
• Crafting a unified Verification Methodology at the company level.

Qualifications Required

• Minimum 10 years of work experience in ASIC Verification, including proficiency in UVM and System Verilog,
• 5+ years of experience as technical team lead with responsibilities covering verification,
• Advanced knowledge of ASIC architecture, design, and verification flow,
• Knowledge of Formal verification, low power verification and analog mixed signal simulation,
• Hands on experience in all aspects of the ASIC development process with proficiency in ASIC verification.
