About the Role

For a leading German high-technology company in the field of advanced electronic systems and secure communication solutions, we are seeking an experienced Device Integration & Hardware Configuration Management Engineer on a 12-month Arbeitnehmerüberlassung (AuG) contract, with strong likelihood of extension.

This is a delivery-focused role supporting complex hardware platforms in a structured R&D and production environment. The ideal candidate is hands-on, process-driven, and experienced in working within controlled engineering change environments.

Your Responsibilities

Device & Hardware Integration

• Integrate electronic subsystems into complete device platforms
• Support hardware bring-up, system validation, and troubleshooting
• Work closely with hardware, firmware, software and system engineering teams
• Perform root cause analysis across PCB, subsystem and device level

Hardware Configuration Management

• Maintain and control hardware baselines and revisions
• Manage and process Engineering Change Requests (ECR) and Engineering Change Orders (ECO)
• Ensure BOM accuracy and version traceability
• Conduct impact analysis for hardware changes
• Support release management from prototype to series production

Process & Documentation

• Maintain hardware documentation in PLM systems
• Ensure proper version control and release workflows
• Support audits and compliance requirements
• Contribute to continuous improvement of configuration processes

Required Experience

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics or related field
• Several years of hands-on experience in hardware/device integration
• Strong experience with hardware configuration management processes (ECR/ECO, baseline control, BOM management)
• Experience working in structured engineering environments
• Practical knowledge of PLM systems such as SAP, Windchill, Teamcenter or similar
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Fluent English, German is advantageous

Nice to Have

• Experience in RF, communications, defense, aerospace or other high-reliability electronics sectors
• Experience supporting hardware release to production
• Previous contractor or AuG experience in Germany

• This is a 12-month Arbeitnehmerüberlassung (AuG) contract
• Extension highly likely depending on project needs
• Candidates must have valid work authorization for Germany
