Role Overview
The Private/Public Cloud Delivery Engineer will be responsible for supporting the delivery of private cloud and public cloud projects for enterprise customers. The role covers private cloud stack deployment, data centre assessment, low-level design, cloud platform installation, commissioning, migration solution design, and cloud service support.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience across server, storage, networking, Linux, virtualization, cloud deployment, and public cloud migration.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of private cloud projects, including customer data centre surveys, low-level design, installation of cloud platform software, commissioning, testing, and cloud service support.
• Plan and implement private cloud infrastructure delivery, covering servers, storage, networking, virtualization, cloud management platforms, cloud security, and disaster recovery integration.
• Support public cloud delivery projects, including landing zone design, migration solution design, migration execution, testing, and post-migration support.
• Work closely with customers and internal technical teams to understand business requirements and translate them into practical cloud architecture and delivery solutions.
• Provide technical guidance during cloud deployment, migration, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Support cloud service implementation across areas such as compute, network, storage, security, database, big data, and middleware.
• Ensure project delivery quality, technical documentation, and customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Requirements

• Strong experience in private cloud, public cloud, IT infrastructure delivery, or cloud architecture.
• Good understanding of server infrastructure, including RAID, BIOS, NIC, disk, and PCIe interface planning and delivery.
• Strong Linux knowledge, including common configuration commands and troubleshooting.
• Solid understanding of storage technologies, including IP SAN, FC SAN, distributed storage, file storage, object storage, and block storage.
• Good networking knowledge, including Layer 2 and Layer 3 switches, firewalls, routers, VRFs, virtual firewalls, ACLs, routing tables, and network commissioning.
• Experience in cloud deployment, design, or delivery across areas such as OpenStack, KVM virtualization, cloud management platforms, cloud networking, cloud security integration, or cloud disaster recovery.
• Experience with public cloud services from mainstream cloud vendors.
• Experience in cloud migration, cloud support, database migration, big data migration, or performance optimization would be highly valuable.
• Good understanding of cloud services across compute, networking, storage, security, database, big data, or middleware.
• Ability to work with enterprise customers in a delivery-focused environment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a multicultural, international project environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Cloud computing or cloud service certifications would be highly advantageous.
• ACE, ACP, TCP, or PMP certifications are preferred.
• Experience working on large-scale enterprise cloud projects.
• Experience with customer-facing technical delivery, solution design, or IT architecture.
