Private/Public Cloud Technical Account Manager

About the Role
Our client is a leading global cloud technology provider, supporting enterprise customers across private cloud, public cloud, and hybrid cloud environments.
They are now looking for a Private/Public Cloud Technical Account Manager to join their Budapest team. This role will focus on cloud operations, customer technical support, issue resolution, service management, migration support, and cloud architecture optimisation.
This is a strong opportunity for someone with hands-on cloud O&M, delivery, technical support, or customer success experience who enjoys working closely with enterprise customers and helping them achieve stable, efficient, and scalable cloud operations.
Key Responsibilities
You will support enterprise customers across both private cloud and public cloud environments.
For private cloud environments, you will be responsible for handling customer technical issues, following up on issue resolution, supporting cloud stack version upgrades, reviewing RFCs, and assisting with change management activities.
You will also prepare customer service reports, analyse cloud resource usage, provide optimisation suggestions, and attend customer visits when required.
For public cloud environments, you will support customer application migration, manage cloud service requirements, assist with O&M reporting, monitor cloud resources, and provide recommendations for billing cost optimisation and cloud deployment architecture improvement.
The role will involve close communication with customers, internal technical teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure service quality, operational stability, and customer satisfaction.
Key Requirements
The ideal candidate will have experience in cloud services, cloud solutions, or IT infrastructure operations, with a strong technical background and customer-facing mindset.
You should have experience handling major technical issues, managing escalations, and communicating clearly with enterprise customers. Previous experience working with cloud vendors or cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Huawei Cloud Stack, or similar platforms would be highly relevant.
Experience in cloud operations and maintenance, IT/CT delivery, technical support, customer service, or cloud solution delivery would be suitable for this position.
The client is particularly interested in candidates who understand O&M processes and can use structured service management methods to drive fast problem resolution and service improvement.
Preferred Experience
Experience in cloud O&M, cloud delivery, cloud platform support, or VIP enterprise customer service.
Strong customer engagement skills, including customer success, stakeholder management, issue follow-up, and service review.
Knowledge of O&M management methodologies and platforms such as ITIL, Agile/Scrum, ServiceNow, Terraform, or Ansible would be a strong advantage.
Experience with cloud migration, resource monitoring, cost optimisation, architecture optimisation, or cloud service reporting would also be highly valuable.
Ideal Candidate Profile
This role would suit a cloud operations engineer, cloud support engineer, technical account manager, service delivery engineer, cloud consultant, or infrastructure engineer who wants to move into a more customer-facing cloud technical role.
The successful candidate will be technically strong, proactive, customer-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced international environment.
