Regional Sales Manager – Industrial Vision Systems (DACH Region)

Position Overview

A global technology solutions provider is seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager to lead business development and customer engagement activities across the DACH region.

This role focuses on driving sustainable growth in machine vision and industrial automation markets through strategic account management, partner development, and team leadership. The position is well suited for commercially driven professionals with strong technical awareness and multilingual capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement mid- to long-term regional sales strategies to support sustainable business growth.

  • Identify, acquire, and manage key customers and partners, actively exploring new business opportunities and promoting product and solution value.

  • Create and execute account development plans, including:

    • Regular customer engagement

    • Coordination of technical, product, and business enablement activities

    • Alignment of mutual business objectives

  • Act as the primary relationship owner for key accounts, coordinating internal and external stakeholders to resolve commercial, technical, and operational issues.

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive relationship management and issue resolution.

  • Utilize CRM systems and sales management tools to track activities, analyze performance, and optimize sales execution.

  • Conduct regular business reviews to identify gaps, improve processes, and refine sales strategies.

  • Lead and support regional sales teams where applicable, fostering a high-performance, collaborative, and customer-focused culture.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Automation, Electronics, Computer Science, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.

  • At least five years of professional experience in industrial automation or related technical sales environments.

  • Proven experience in sales team leadership and performance management.

  • Strong understanding of machine vision systems, including:

    • Cameras and optics

    • Lighting systems

    • Frame grabbers

    • Vision software and algorithms

  • Experience working with system integrators, OEMs, or equipment manufacturers is highly desirable.

  • Industry exposure in sectors such as electronics manufacturing, semiconductors, automotive, packaging, or intralogistics is preferred.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a results-oriented and ownership-driven mindset.

  • High standards of integrity, accountability, and teamwork.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills.

  • Ability to structure, summarize, and communicate business insights clearly.

Language Requirements

  • Professional proficiency in Mandarin and English.

  • Knowledge of German is a strong advantage.
