Software Automation Engineer – Hannover – 60% Remote
RESPONSIBILITIES

• TEST AUTOMATION & VERIFICATION              Automate and verify complex software through design, specification and orchestration of tests to ensure SDR product quality
• TEST ENVIRONMENT SETUP Contribute to definition and setup of test environments, integration of external systems, development of mocks and test drivers
• SHIFT-LEFT TESTING Work closely with developers to integrate tests early and efficiently into the development process — shift-left approach and automation of requirements verification
• TEST ANALYSIS              Analyse test results and adapt test cases when product changes occur
• FRAMEWORK OPTIMISATION             Actively contribute to optimisation and improvement of test frameworks
• PROCESS IMPROVEMENT    Drive continuous improvement of test processes in collaboration with other Quality Engineers

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS

• DEGREE (CS / COMPARABLE)             Completed degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification
• QA / COMPLEX SW EXPERIENCE      Experience in software quality assurance or development of complex software systems
• PYTHON & TEST AUTOMATION           Experience with Python (or comparable scripting languages), test automation frameworks, CI/CD pipelines and test management systems
• LINUX PROFICIENCY                Comfortable working in Linux environments — command line, scripting and tooling
• AGILE MINDSET           Solution-oriented, team-oriented, self-responsible and agile working style
• LANGUAGES   German (business fluent / C1) and English (working knowledge) — both required
