Machinery Safety Consultant

What the role involves

• Conduct machinery safety inspections and risk assessments at customer sites.
• Assess machinery and industrial installations against relevant safety legislation and standards.
• Produce detailed technical reports and recommend corrective actions.
• Advise customers on Machinery Directive, CE Marking, ATEX, PED, LVD, EMC and related safety requirements.
• Act as a trusted consultant to manufacturing clients across multiple industries.
• Maintain accurate project and customer records through the CRM system.
• Represent Pilz at customer meetings, exhibitions and industry events.

What they’re looking for

• Engineering background (Electrical, Automation, Controls or Manufacturing).
• Experience in manufacturing, automation, machine building or machinery safety.
• Knowledge of risk assessments and health & safety regulations.
• Strong communication and customer-facing skills.
• Willingness to travel throughout Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, with occasional overnight stays.
