About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Finance Lead to oversee financial operations, budgeting, business planning, financial analysis, and management reporting for our business in Brazil. This role will serve as the key finance leader for the local organization, partnering closely with country management and business teams to support business growth, operational efficiency, and strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Management & Reporting

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting activities.
• Ensure management reports accurately reflect business performance and operational results.
• Establish and maintain effective financial controls and reporting processes.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management.

Budgeting & Financial Planning

• Lead annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Develop financial plans and support business target setting.
• Monitor budget execution and perform variance analysis.
• Drive continuous improvement of planning and forecasting processes.

Business Performance Management

• Analyze business performance, profitability, and operational efficiency.
• Monitor key financial and operational KPIs.
• Provide recommendations to improve financial results and support sustainable business growth.
• Support strategic initiatives through financial modeling and scenario analysis.

Cost Control & Risk Management

• Monitor project costs, operational expenses, and resource utilization.
• Identify financial risks and implement mitigation measures.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and financial governance requirements.

Business Partnership

• Act as the primary finance partner to local leadership and business teams.
• Support commercial, operational, and investment decisions through financial analysis.
• Provide professional financial guidance and business insights to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related disciplines.
• Minimum 8 years of finance experience.
• Experience leading finance operations, FP&A, management reporting, budgeting, and business analysis.
• Strong understanding of financial planning, cost control, and business performance management.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities.
• Experience in mining, construction equipment, heavy machinery, engineering services, industrial sectors, or related industries is highly preferred.
• Fluent in Chinese, English and Portuguese required.
