Company Overview
Our client is a sizeable Hong Kong-listed company and one of the leading construction equipment rental and equipment operation service providers in Asia. The company provides construction equipment rental, aerial work platforms, scaffolding, formwork, shoring systems, engineering support, equipment operation services and industrial site solutions.
With a strong presence in China and an expanding footprint across overseas markets, the business is now growing further across Hong Kong and Southeast Asia. As part of this international expansion, they are hiring several senior sales and HR professionals across Hong Kong, Malaysia and Indonesia.
Role Overview
We are looking for a Regional Sales Director to lead sales development and regional business growth in Indonesia, with a focus on mining equipment, road construction equipment, equipment operation services and related industrial customers. This person will take ownership of regional sales targets, revenue, profit, team management, customer development, project assessment and payment collection.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full responsibility for regional sales targets, including contract signing, revenue, profit and payment collection.
- Build, develop and manage the regional sales team.
- Expand the market for road construction, mining equipment and equipment operation services in Indonesia.
- Manage key indicators for branches, stores and projects within the region.
- Lead customer and project qualification to control business, operational and payment collection risks.
- Oversee the full process of contract management, settlement and payment collection.
- Ensure company funds and commercial interests are protected.
- Build a high-performance sales team and implement company culture locally.
- Maintain a clean, compliant and results-driven team environment.
- Develop strong customer relationships across construction, mining, infrastructure, industrial and equipment-related sectors.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above; strong candidates with college-level education may also be considered.
- 8+ years of sales experience, including at least 5 years of sales management experience.
- Background in engineering, B2B sales, mining equipment, construction equipment, road construction equipment, heavy machinery, equipment rental or industrial services is preferred.
- Strong team management and regional business development experience.
- Good understanding of basic financial knowledge, including revenue, profit, payment collection and risk control.
- Strong commercial sense, strategic thinking and business negotiation skills.
- Able to manage complex customers, projects and internal stakeholders.
- Strong communication, leadership and problem-solving ability.
- Experience in Indonesia or Southeast Asia market is highly preferred.
