Description

We are seeking a Senior Sales Engineer / Sales Manager to lead and grow our business within the European off-highway market. This role combines technical sales leadership, customer consulting, and strategic business development, working closely with in-house R&D and manufacturing teams to deliver customized industrial sensor solutions for construction, agricultural, and specialty vehicles.

Non-Negotiable Requirements (Must Have)

• Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Automotive, or comparable field)

• Proven professional experience in technical sales or business development

• Experience selling sensors, electronic components, or technical systems

• Strong understanding of the European off-highway market, including:

  • Construction equipment

  • Agricultural machinery

  • Specialty vehicles

• Ability to act as a technical consultant and primary customer interface

• Experience managing the full sales cycle, from opportunity development to closing

• Excellent English communication and presentation skills

• Willingness and ability to travel regularly within Europe and occasionally internationally

• Independent, results-driven working style with strong customer focus

Desirable Requirements (Nice to Have)

• Existing network within the European off-highway or heavy equipment industry

• Experience collaborating closely with R&D and manufacturing for customization and rapid prototyping

• Experience representing companies at industry events, trade fairs, and customer sites

• Background in growth-phase or market-expansion environments

Position Details

• Location: Italy/ remote within Italy 

• Geographic Focus: Europe (Off-Highway sector)

• Travel: Regular within Europe, occasional international travel
