Digital Hardware Developer
Responsibilities
- Key role in developing and integrating innovative assemblies for high-performance directional radio communication systems.
- Design and develop the digital components of radio devices, including selection and integration of digital components and interfaces to analog hardware.
- Create circuit schematics and simulations; supervise circuit layouts using modern CAE tools.
- Verify and validate circuit performance through measurements and tests, from single-component characterization to system integration.
- Work interdisciplinary with systems engineering, software development, electrical/mechanical design, and customers to ensure successful system integration.
- Completed degree in electrical engineering with focus on communications/telecommunications engineering or comparable.
- Several years of professional experience in digital hardware development.
- Practical experience implementing complex designs with FPGAs, SoCs, DDR memory, high-speed digital interfaces, and power supplies.
- Experience in commissioning, testing, and verification using oscilloscopes, network analyzers, and signal generators.
- Experience in FPGA development and knowledge of VHDL is advantageous.
- Experience with RF front-ends and communication systems is a plus.
- Very good German and English language skills (written and spoken).
