Digital Design Engineer
Digital Design Engineer – Wireless Connectivity (Bluetooth)
Position Overview
A global provider of smart-edge and embedded connectivity solutions is seeking a skilled Digital Design Engineer to join its wireless IP development team.
This role focuses on the design, implementation, and verification of advanced digital subsystems for Bluetooth and short-range wireless communication platforms. The successful candidate will contribute to building high-performance, reliable connectivity solutions and collaborate closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams throughout the product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
-
Define micro-architectures for Bluetooth and IEEE 802.15.4 MAC and PHY modules.
-
Own end-to-end digital design and verification activities.
-
Implement and validate digital designs on FPGA platforms for prototyping and early testing.
-
Support validation and certification activities in collaboration with quality and application teams.
-
Plan, monitor, and report project progress and technical milestones.
-
Develop comprehensive documentation covering micro-architecture, interfaces, and module-level testing.
-
Proactively propose and implement improvements to development processes, tools, and methodologies.
-
Collaborate closely with architecture, system, algorithm, hardware, software, and customer-support teams.
Required Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics, Embedded Systems, or a related technical field.
-
At least three years of professional experience in digital design and verification.
-
Strong proficiency in Verilog and SystemVerilog.
-
Solid understanding of complete digital design flows, including:
-
Micro-architecture definition
-
RTL design
-
Testbench development
-
Code coverage and synthesis
-
Verification and co-simulation
-
-
Hands-on experience with FPGA implementation and prototyping.
-
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
-
Ability to work independently with a high degree of technical ownership.

Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
-
Project planning and progress tracking capabilities.
-
Professional fluency in English (written and spoken).

Knowledge of wireless communication standards, such as:

IEEE 802.11 (Wi-Fi)

UWB
-
3GPP cellular

Experience with SoC or subsystem architecture and system integration.
