Description

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the development of secure radio communication systems at device level. The role combines technical project leadership with coordination of international, cross-location teams, contributing to system architecture, interface definition, and strategic make-or-buy decisions in a highly regulated environment.

Non-Negotiable Requirements (Must Have)

Completed degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable technical field

Several years of professional experience in project management, ideally in device or system development

Proven experience leading international and cross-location project teams

Experience working with project management tools such as:

RTC

Confluence

Jira

Strong ability to provide technical project leadership for hardware and software development

Experience contributing to:

Technical specifications

System and device architectures

Interface definitions

Strong analytical skills and a structured working approach

High level of initiative and team-oriented mindset

Negotiation-level German and English, written and spoken

Suitable for experienced professionals (not a role for career starters)

Willingness and eligibility to obtain NfD security clearance (Ü2 not required)

Desirable Requirements (Nice to Have)

Experience in secure or safety-critical communication systems

Knowledge of agile development methods such as Scrum or SAFe

Experience supporting technology selection and make-or-buy decisions

Exposure to manufacturing cost optimization and production-related topics

Strong intercultural communication skills and experience working in international environments
