The assignment
Project Planning & Coordination: 

• Define and maintain an up-to-date, comprehensive project plan for SAP and other applications that identifies deliverables, work breakdown structure, timelines, resources, risks, and dependencies. 

• Coordinate, motivate, and support the project team to achieve objectives effectively. 

 
Rollout Strategy & Planning: 

• Define rollout strategy and deployment sequencing across countries 

• Develop detailed rollout plans including timelines and cutover approach

  
Template Governance: 

• Ensure adherence to global SAP S4 template 

• Balance standardization with localization requirements

  
Vendor Management: 

• Manage and coordinate ICT vendors (software, hardware, and consultancy) to ensure alignment with project goals.

  
Governance & Reporting: 

• Establish required project governance, organizing project team meetings and steering committees. 

• Present key elements for decision-making at steering committees, including impacts and alternatives. 

• Regularly report on project progress, budget, risks, and issues to the ICT Business Partner, Team Leader, and ICT PMO Manager.

  
Execution Excellence: 

• Ensure projects are executed in line with agreed standards and methodology, including quality gating and thorough testing before release to production. 

• Proactively identify risks and implement mitigation plans to address challenges effectively.

  
Change Management: 

• Lead communication, training, and post-go-live support to ensure successful adoption of the new solution.

  
Handover to Operations: 

• Ensure knowledge transfer and operational handover to support partner before project closure

  
Single Point of Contact: 

• Act as the primary contact for both internal and external stakeholders involved in the project.

  
Required knowledge and skills

• Education & Experience: 

• A master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. 

• Extensive track record in project and change management, including project delivery in complex environments.
• At least a 8 years’ experience in Project management. 

• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., SAP Activate, PRINCE2, SAFe), applied pragmatically. 

• Experience with any SAP module is a strong asset (Finance, HR SuccessFactors, Procurement etc).

• Skills: 

• Team player with a no-nonsense attitude and the ability to motivate and coordinate diverse teams. 

• Strong analytical skills for planning, budgeting, and problem-solving. 

• Excellent communication skills, capable of building relationships with stakeholders at all levels. 

• Demonstrated ability in managing various other (non-SAP) platform owners and stakeholders to achieve a unified go-live date. 

• Fluent in English (Dutch knowledge is a plus).

• Technical Tools Expertise: 

• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 tools (SharePoint, Teams, PowerApps, OneDrive, etc.). 

• Experience with Azure DevOps is a significant advantage.

• Preferred Experience: 

• Previous experience working in SAP Project Delivery with complex, fast-paced environments.

Location
We provide the flexibility to work both from our office premises and remotely from home. This to maintain a healthy work-life balance while being an integral part of our team. An onsite presence of 3 days a week is required. It’s not possible to work 100% remote.
